Funky, fabulous fashion. Artistic, stunning face painting. Cute, fun-loving kids. In a collaborative effort, I worked with Denise of Dandy Social Club and Leah of Face Fiesta to showcase some wonderful clothes and face painting Monday afternoon. Armed with plenty of snacks, juice boxes, and bubbles, 12 adorable children romped around the park in Boulder, yielding fabulous photos. We made wishes on dandelions, played "red light, green light", and were in rock bands- this afternoon could not have been more of a total blast! A HUGE thanks to the wonderful kids for participating and their patient families and parents for lending them to us for the session.

It was an absolute pleasure to have photographed Anna Be's exquisite three year anniversary party held at their beautiful new boutique located in the Highlands neighborhood of downtown Denver. Not only can these talented ladies dress you for a party, but they also know how to throw one! The guest list included friends, family, clients and industry vendors. The event was flawless and everyone had an amazing time. Meet the girls behind the Venus de Miles Ride 2009! I always love photographing this great group of women- they all share a great sense of humor in addition to their dedication to this unique Greenhouse Scholars cause. Teresa Robbins founded this ride in 2008, and I had the pleasure of photographing the event last year. I'm flattered to be returning this August 30th to capture the energy, excitement, and spirit of the ride. This all-women ride is a Greenhouse Scholars event, organized to provide Scholars with personal, academic, and financial support ensuring that they are able to attend college and achieve their full potential. I am looking forward to photographing the race again and will be sure to share the images!

Last year on August 17th, despite the rain and less than ideal conditions, over 600 women geared up for the inaugural year of the annual Venus de Miles ride in Longmont, Colorado. The energy of all the riders, staff, and volunteers created and maintained a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere from start to finish- enjoy some fun shots from last year\'s race!
