We are honored to be a part of the Venus de Miles ride again this year and recently had the pleasure of photographing their youngest rider, Nicole. Nicole and her mother Kathy are featured as a mother-daughter duo in the Cycle and Style online magazine. Nicole's story is soon to be highlighted on the "She Pedals" blog as well.

 

On August 29^th, thousands of participants will ride through scenic Longmont on one of three different routes, which accommodate various skill levels. This annual ride benefits Greenhouse Scholars to support high-performing, under-resourced college students right here in Colorado. We wish the very best to Nicole and Kathy- Good luck ladies!

I was so excited to spend the afternoon hiking with my sister, her husband and their dog Ricco. I took this time as an opportunity to photograph her pregnancy. They are expecting their first child in early March...although I'm sure my sister wouldn't mind late February. I think I might be just as excited as they are to find out if I'll be welcoming a niece or nephew!

This was a super fun and exciting shoot to launch an amazing new fashion product created by local interior designer Summer Trembley. Summer has been selling her accessories locally and on www.Etsy.com. I had the pleasure of photographing her and her models wearing her products. I had a fantastic time photographing Aimee Heckel, a journalist for the Daily Camera. Aimee is pregnant with her first child and found some time to celebrate her pregnancy with a unique "henna photo session". It was an absolute pleasure to have photographed Anna Be's exquisite three year anniversary party held at their beautiful new boutique located in the Highlands neighborhood of downtown Denver. Not only can these talented ladies dress you for a party, but they also know how to throw one! The guest list included friends, family, clients and industry vendors. The event was flawless and everyone had an amazing time. It was overcast and threatening to storm in Boulder the first day of shooting Allegra's senior pictures, so we decided to just stay inside the studio for pictures and go outside a different day. While listening to Taylor Swift and other country music to get inspired, Allegra changed up her look with different outfits and backgrounds. She brought her friend Anna with her- it was great to get a couple shots of the friends together...

A couple days later, we took advantage of a sunny evening to venture outside and grab some shots in a beautiful field, then moved locations to take pictures near an old barn. We loved getting variety here with the different backgrounds- the sunlight coupled with the rustic wood stable wall and the aged brick silo made for unique pictures.
