It was overcast and threatening to storm in Boulder the first day of shooting Allegra's senior pictures, so we decided to just stay inside the studio for pictures and go outside a different day. While listening to Taylor Swift and other country music to get inspired, Allegra changed up her look with different outfits and backgrounds. She brought her friend Anna with her- it was great to get a couple shots of the friends together...

A couple days later, we took advantage of a sunny evening to venture outside and grab some shots in a beautiful field, then moved locations to take pictures near an old barn. We loved getting variety here with the different backgrounds- the sunlight coupled with the rustic wood stable wall and the aged brick silo made for unique pictures.

We finished up the shoot just as the sun was tucking behind the foothills- Allegra wore a stylish red dress -complimented by a cute side ponytail- at a rustic fence, then later by the Cherryvale sign- these pictures add some artistic variety to complete her portfolio! Great fun- enjoy your senior year, Allegra!

Ellie brought her friend Katie with her to the studio here in Boulder yesterday to take her senior pictures. The natural lighting here in the studio complimented the natural hair and make-up for a relaxed look and feel- we took a few shots of Ellie, first by herself, and then Katie jumped in so we could grab a couple shots of the two of them together.

The late daylight up Left Hand Canyon was beautiful- we love Ellie's outfits and how well they photographed in the field. It was so enjoyable to have Katie come along on the shoot- capturing the friends interacting and having a great time together added an extra fun element!

We finished up the shoot photographing at a train yard here in Boulder. The colors with the setting sun and the rustic trains are gorgeous, and despite the few mosquitoes deciding to pay us a visit towards the end, we thoroughly enjoyed this shoot and are excited about the results!

Boulder High School senior Hannah came in to the studio here in Boulder yesterday armed with many outfits and fun accessories to photograph her senior pictures. After doing hair and make-up with a stylist, we started off by taking some pictures in the studio, using natural light at first, and then we got a couple shots with studio lighting. From the first frame, Hannah's eyes blew us away, and continued to do so throughout the shoot!

After we finished in the studio, we ventured out to a ranch near the North Foothills Highway where we found an old soda machine and barn to take pictures by. Hannah's vintage outfit looked great not only at that location, but it really stood out and looked fantastic at the bright blue, broken down school bus across the field. We tried a couple different outfits at this spot, and they turned out quite stunning!

We finished up by taking some pictures of Hannah in her prom dress and a chunky necklace by her chrome colored '66 Mustang. We had such fun on this shoot- both Hannah and her mom Anne were so light-hearted, had great energy, and were awesome to work with!
